The Prize
two (2) students will be awarded a 2024 australian fashion foundation (ausff) scholarship award.
The winnerS of the 2024 ausff Scholarship awards will EACH receive a $20,000 USD grant and an internship with a global fashion powerhouse in 2024.
Who Can Enter
Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in or a recent graduatE of a degree program, or have 3-5 years work experience in a related field.
Applicable fields of study/work include fashion design, fashion marketing, fashion illustration, writing, styling, creative direction, photography, and public relations. Due to the varying titles of education/work in the creative industries, we encourage other fields of interest to apply by indicating their field in the "other" category.
SELECTED finalists must be present for the IN-PERSON judging competition WHICH WILL BE held on MONDAy, december 16tH, 2024 IN SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA.
How To Enter
Submissions FOR THE 2024 AUSFF scholarship awards OPENed FROM SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 9TH AND CLOSED SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17TH at 11:59PM (SYDNEY).
Candidates ARE required to submit all materials through AUSFF’s online application portal.
Applicants must submit:
A PDF portfolio of no more than 14 pages, including a 1 page resume. portfolios over 14 pages will not be reviewed, HOWEVER LANDSCAPE/SPREADS ARE PERMISSIBLE, AND COUNT AS ONE PAGE.

Proof of citizenship/permanent residency and age (ex. passport, birth certificate). THIS DOES NOT NEED TO BE INCLUDED WITHIN THE PORTFOLIO
FOR FASHION DESIGNERS, PLEASE STRIVE TO INCLUDE AT LEAST 6 COMPLETE LOOKS.
JUDGES ARE LOOKING FOR THE APPLICANT’S ABILITY TO DEPICT THEIR PROCESS, INSPIRATION, FINAL WORKS, AND ANY OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION & DETAILS UNIQUE TO THEIR STORY AND WORK.
IN ADDITION TO COMPLETE LOOKS/COLLECTIONS, WE ENCOURAGE APPLICANTS TO INCORPORATE TEXT, CAMPAIGN IMAGERY, RUNWAY IMAGERY, FLAT LAYS OR PROCESS IMAGERY TO EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE WHO THEY ARE AND WHAT THEIR WORK STANDS FOR, WHERE APPROPRIATE.
Final Judging Competition
FINALISTS WILL BE CONTACTED VIA EMAIL.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AUSTRALIAN FASHION FOUNDATION DOES NOT PROVIDE JUDGING FEEDBACK OR SCORES ON APPLICATIONS. DUE TO THE NUMBER OF APPLICANTS, ONLY SELECTED FINALISTS WILL BE CONTACTED ONCE APPLICATIONS HAVE CLOSED AND SEMI-FINALS JUDGING HAS BEEN COMPLETED.
SELECTED finalists must be present for the IN-PERSON judging competition CONFIRMED TO BE held on MONDAy, december 16tH, 2024 IN SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA. FURTHER DETAILS FOR THE IN-PERSON COMPETITION WILL BE COMMUNICATED DIRECTLY TO SELECTED TO FINALISTS.
