2013/14 Winners Announced

The winners of the 2013/14 AUSFF internship grant, sponsored by The Woolmark Company,  were announced at the Royal Hotel in Sydney. Talisa Trantino and Amie Jones were joint winners, with Hannah Canham as the runner up.

Melbourne-based RMIT womenswear design graduate Talisa Trantino and Sydney-based Whitehouse graduate Amie Jones, who is a creative director / graphic designer / stylist / photographer were each awarded $20,000 and a six month internship in the USA or Europe as the joint winners of the AUSFF internship grant, to pursue their talent on an international scale.

"Talisa and Amie both demonstrated a 360-degree view of the industry and a Multi-dimensional approach to fashion," said AUSFF co-founder Malcolm Carfrae. "Their submissions showed variety, innovation and both were excellent self-marketers."

Judges present included AUSFF founder: Malcolm Carfrae (Chief Communications Officer and Executive Vice President at Calvin Klein Inc); Conde Nast Asia's Nancy Pilcher; Australian Fashion designer Dion Lee; blogger and stylist Romy Frydman; myTheresa.com's Director of Communications and head of AUSFF European operations Anthony Kendal and The Woolmark Company's Director of the Americas, Michelle Lee
