8TH ANNUAL SUMMER PARTY

New York, June 8, 2016– The Australian Fashion Foundation (AUSFF), supported by The Woolmark Company, celebrated the summer season last night at the AUSFF’s annual summer party, held at JIMMY at The James Hotel in New York City. The AUSFF, which assists talented and passionate young Australians in the global fashion industry, has held the event for the past seven years.

The event’s honorary committee included Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman of Camilla & Marc; Dion Lee; Kym Ellery of ELLERY; and Ramon Martin and Ryan Lobo of TOME.

“Our annual Australian Fashion Foundation event is a chance for the New York fashion and creative industries to learn more about the best of Australian fashion and help support the next generation of design talent. New York is the best global stage for any fashion designer but especially for Australian designers – there is a real love here for the sexy, wearable aesthetic that Australians are known for. The Woolmark Company’s support of emerging fashion design is truly world class,” explained Malcolm Carfrae, Founder of AUSFF.
